The pictures above in which none of us is
appropriately attired both in clothes and
footwear, document the start of a climb up
a hill which eventually leads up to a very
steep hillslope - approx 70 metres uphill -
and which takes us to the site of a rafflesia
in bloom! The Rafflesia is the largest
flower in the world and this is truly an
experience not to be missed since we were
fortunate enough to be there when there
was a flower in bloom.
