Jasper is a type of quartz belonging to the chalcedony family. These little colourful nuggets belong to the fancy jasper group. This partcular stones are very prety because they come in an array of colours, some translucent and some opaque. I've used tiny goldfilled beads as spacers with a square moss agate donut with wirework for a pendant. I've been admiring this the whole night and I really should take another photo this morning as my night photos aren't good at all but I'm on my way out so I'll redo this later.
