. Today is my mum's birthday. We arranged a small family lunch for those who are on leave and in the country. My sister and her son, my husband and myself were present. My brother and his wife are at work, my brother in law is out of town and the rest of mum's grandchildren are at work. Birthday girl is walking up the steps to the restaurant.
Flutes at the Fort - when we were children, my sister, brother and myself used to play in the grounds of the restaurant whenever we visited my dad's brother who was the Fire Chief in Singapore at that time. This used to be his residence.
It was quite nostalgic, especially for our mum.
