Rich, sensuous and heady thats the exact feeling I had when I was surrounded by beautiful gems and finished jewellery yesterday. Musk, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, a coming together of all these perfumes was slightly intoxicating and I had to step out occasionally to get a breath of fresh air. Anyway, at the end of the evening I was very inspired by what I saw. I could barely afford most of the gems and only acquired a select booty which I have to decide what I want to do with. Anyway, getting back to Yasmin which is an obvious inspiration from what I saw, I've used faceted coin shape garnets and 3mm faceted rondells for this creation. Fashioned around goldfilled teardrop shape hoops the other accents are also goldfilled - earwires, chains, wirework.
Dimensions: Total drop 4.5 cm. Broadest part of teardrop measures 2 cm across.

Beeeeyoooootiful!
Thanks Simone. The idea came from something I saw but I improvised and did the twirly thingy which is inspired by your latest fetish ;D
I am drooling here just looking at Yasmin! LOVE the colour combination and design and wirework. I can see the influence of the rich colours and intricate patterns on Indian jewelry in Yasmin's design.
Just wondering how long it will take before we see more Yasmin lookalikes *wink*, you trend-setter :))
Sounds like private sale was very interesting too.
Hahahaha! We'll see =D
btw My friend Vanita is having an exhibition soon. Hopefully you won't be at a meeting/conf call this time around.
