I never really took much notice of these banded agate stones till after a lunch date with some ex classmates. Two of them were in from London and one of them wore a black agate necklace - banded agate - and she said she paid 800 Pounds for that. I almost fell off my chair and since then I've been taking out my banded agate stones and really admiring and appreciating them. These here are absolutely smooth, black sardonyx agate puffed ovals - approx 20 mm in length and I've added small black agate stones as spacers to bring the total length to around 20" inclusive of the toggle fastener.
