With the lunar new year around the corner and everything being spring fresh and clean and auspicuous colours coming out of the closets, I decided on a fiery set to complement the festive mood. Red roses against a grey background set off with a chain of red czech glass brios and swarovski crystals. To add some length I've used these 925 silver kidney shape fancy earwires. Total drop is now 6 cm. All metal components 925 silver. Clay by Karin.
In case anybody is wondering why I set this ridiculously low price of $28 for these earrings, I did it because of the significance of the number 28 which in cantonese sounds like the phrase - "easy to prosper"......... so these little pieces that I've been publishing at $28 go to the new owners with the wish for prosperity in the year of the Rat...............just a little trivia =D
