Tonight we took our friends Beat and Alicia and their family to dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Beat and Alicia live in Basel Switzerland. Beat and my husband go way back. They've known each other for more than 10 years and the last time we met up their son Adrian was barely a year old. He is an amazing little guy. 4 years old and bi-lingual. He speaks fluent English (learnt from his mum) with a German accent. He attends kindergarten where he is taught in German so his English vocabulary is very impressive considering its not the language he is taught in school. My husband taught him how to roll bits of paper and stuff it into his straw and blow it out. He was having so much fun that we were the last table to clear out from the restaurant. It was really good catching up with them.
