Beautifully cool but also wet, wet afternoon in usually sunny Singapore. Moonsoon time.
Its been a while since I opened up my boxes of my gemstones and have kind of forgotten what I actually have in stock. I purchase direct from a gemstone dealer in India, 2 actually. One has exquisite but also exquisitely expensive, beautifully cut gemstones which I usually only use for my custom orders. The other offers more affordable and good quality stones which I can use for most of my creations. This afternoon I decided to re-explore my gemstone options. Here, I've used 4 - 5 mm faceted sparkling oregon sunstone rondells and a few micro cut faceted 3-4 mm vesuvianite rondells in a crowning cluster to give dimension and color to a carved smokey quartz leaf measuring approx 3 cm (approx 1-1/4") without the goldfill handcrafted bail. The chain - 14k goldfill - is currently 16"but can be adjusted upon request and ends with a goldfill toggle. Excellent value for the quality of materials and the craftsmanship if I may say so myself.
