In the years that I've immersed myself in this all consuming hobby of bead crafting, I've made many, many friends....some are suppliers, some are fellow craftspeople, some are clients. Deb is a friend, a wonderful artisan and also has gorgeous gemstones in her shop on etsy. This jade pendant is Deb's gift to me. I hope I've justified her generosity with this creation which I'm keeping for myself. Accompanying the carved dragon/phoenix pendant, is a necklace comprising faceted iolite nuggets (deep blue not really visible in these photos), raw garnet nuggets (not the polished sort but in its semi natural form - looking rather organic in reality), gold fill beads and on either side of the pendant, a little cluster of rice shape polished garnet beads.
