PRISCILLA BL344-10 S$68 SOLD

Whilst I still have a few more custom orders to complete, I took some time out to work on an inspiration that would have passed if I didn't act on it pronto. Sweetest little fuchsia faceted quartz briolettes and tendrils of smooth pink tourmalines and faceted rhodolite garnet rondells. The rondells look rather dull in my photos but they're actually really nice shades of pink in reality. An elegant set of czech quartz earposts give elongated symmetrey to this girly pair.

APRIL - CUSTOM ORDER

I completed this vibrant blue necklace to fulfill a custom order for a longish necklace. Using Czech glass and polymer clay beads, this is features shades of blue with the most stunning being indigo blue and tapering off with clear sky blue faceted czech glass stones. Assymetrical, this is a fun necklace but would look good even with a dressy white shirt or blouse and equally stunning with jeans and a casual white top.

Lemon chartreuse - a colour halfway between lemon and green and in this case leaning more to lemon. Teamed with a cluster of mystic pyrite, peridot and tsavorite faceted rondells, these would make a gorgeous enhancement to your wardrobe. Hanging off textured filigree rose earposts with a single cubic zirconia quartz at the edge of each rose, the inclusion of swinging fine gold filled chains add an air of soft elegance to these beauties.

SALT ON THE BEACH,

Dinner with Ted, Yvonne and their daughter Lauren at Salt on the Beach, a restaurant in North Fremantle, this restaurant is situated on the sand dunes of the Indian Ocean. Beautiful views and ambience.

SUNDAY PANCAKES

Believe it or not but this substantial spread of pancakes, sausages, stuffed tomatoes, bacon, hash browns is a regular Sunday breakfast at my friend's home. Ted makes the lightest pancakes I've ever eaten.

Dinner @ Mon's & Reg's

Remember the photo where we went for a walk along the river....well, we're now in Monica & Reg's home which is along the stretch by the river. We had an enjoyable evening and fabulous home cooked food.

SANDALFORD WINERY, SWAN VALLEY

Lunch at Sandalford winery, one of Western Australia's oldest and largest privately owned wineries. A wedding was being held there in one of the function rooms and I was just being a sticky beak and took photos of the banquet tables and the cupcake arrangement wedding cake. We were not part of the wedding party ;p

7 SPICES RESTAURANT, APPLECROSS

A very popular Indian restaurant on Ardross Street, in Applecross. My sister and husband flew in a few days after me and together with the Rogers' and Kramers' I once again was stuffing my face :D

THE BEAUFORT STREET MERCHANT

My friend Monica, her hubby Reg and their daughter Gillian took me to dinner at The Beaufort Street Merchant.A bar, brasserie, fine wine store and gourmet provedore all under one roof. Coffee and dessert followed a great meal!

ONYESHA SPA

This tranquil and beautiful sanctuary is in Pinelake Trail, Mariginiup, off Joondalup. It was an afternoon well spent. Very, very relaxing. It was an eventful day and eventually an eventful night ..... :D

GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE

More wining and dining....great little Italian restaurant. Perugino, one of Perth's premier Italian Restaurants. This cute waiter with Ted, my friend's hubby, gave me his email address so I could send him this photo. I guess he'll send it home to his mama in Italy.....or maybe his fidanzata!

IN & AROUND PERTH CITY

I've always been fascinated by the blue skies of Perth. Crisp blue and cloudless. However, this time around, there were days of high humidity and clouds in the sky. Beautiful jacaranda trees are in full bloom as are the roses, petunias, gerberas, fragrant waxed lilies......

WALK ALONG THE RIVER

Too much wining and dining so we joined our friend and her husband on their evening walk by the river with the false hope that we could work off some of the excesses we had piled on over the last few days. It was an enjoyable walk and we managed to catch the sunset and enjoy the cool evening breeze - it was one of the nicer evenings when the temperature dropped and we could have walked further if it was still bright because we didn't feel hot or flustered. I thoroughly enjoyed this little jaunt.

DAY 2 - SUMMER GARDEN WEDDING

A new experience for me. A garden wedding. The couple had already celebrated their wedding in Bali about a week or so before this. This 'blessing' was for the benefit of their grandmothers who could not make the trip to Bali. Balmy Summer garden wedding held in the groom's mother's home. Beautiful view as the house is set high up in the hills. And so my adventure continues ;p

FIRST DAY IN PERTH

After a light breakfast and a shower, we were off to the Swan Valley for lunch at Sitella winery ..........stay tuned for more ;p

MARIANNE - CUSTOM ORDER

I've been away toooo long. I'm trying my level best to go thru' all my emails, customizations, queries and fighting some sort of fatigue which I feel is best dealt with by some physical and mental exercise. Starting off on a cheery note are these lovely faceted rubelite quartz briolettes, made to go along with a necklace I made.

Still uploading photos of my trip and at the same time compiling them into albums to send off to my friends in Perth. Bear with me. Almost back to normal.

Working on another long necklace for a custom order. As indicated in my opening statement, time is not on my side this week where my crafting is concerned. AUTUMN LEAVES BL342-10 S$80 SOLD

Isn't this a fantastic vision to start the week. Chockaful of gorgeous gems, this bracelet measures a llittle more than 7½" but its not longer than usual, as its not a flat bracelet and sits perfectly on wrists that measure around 6 - 6½" in circumference. The gemfull concoction is filled with white, peach, grey moonstones, frosted champagne quartz, carnellian, grapefruit quartz, labradorite, bits of irregular lengths of gold filled chain and matte gold tone faceted briolettes in between. A mouthful of juicy, delectable gemstones.

CLARA BL341-10 S$75 SOLD

Smooth amazonite irregular shape nuggets in a gorgeous turquoise tone, natural, un-dyed but heat treated for colour enhancement. A plump and juicy shell pearl is an added bonus. This is on an 'openable' bail which allows the necklace to be worn without the pendant and the pendant can be added to an existing necklace or just strung on a gold chain. 3x the value. Perfect for those who want simple, petite and sleek neck enhancement.

MOCACHINO BL336-10 S$88 SOLD

This collage shows a very dark impression of the actual necklace.....I finished this, literally, at sundown!

The Jasper stones contain a mixture of creams and light-to-chocolate browns, with an occasional hint of rusty orange. Running alongside these beauties is another layer of deep chocolate freshwater pearls that have a tinge of dusky pink under certain light conditions. Sterling silver beads feature as spacers along the jasper line.
