As the year comes to a close, my heartfelt thanks to my friends who stood by me, supported and cheered me, my husband and children who are my pillars of strength and to random people who dropped in to my page on FB or my blog to offer me kind words that put a smile on my face.
Whilst I don't make resolutions, my wish for 2013 is for everyone to remember that whenever we point one finger at another, the remaining 4 fingers point back at us. Instead open your fist, extend a handshake, give someone a hug or a smile. At the end of the day nobody cares how much material wealth you have accumulated, rather, we will be judged by how much kindness, love and goodwill we have spread. We each have a cross to carry, some crosses are heavier than others. If we pretend to be perfect, then we are the saddest people around.
I will continue to be a good person and will strive to be better, I will handle everyone with the softest of gloves but remember, I give as good as I receive.
So, with an open heart and an open mind, I wish everyone a Happy, Peaceful and Safe 2013 ♥♥♥♥♥
